Cherries in Season

There are cherry stands all over Marin right now as the fruit has come into season.

My friend brought me a bag full when she arrived for her 2 week stay.

They are so delicious.... we sat with the bowl between us and ate our fill.

I tried to get the dark rich color of the ripe cherries... it was fun to play with the different shades of red and brown.
